The complexities of the ESG investing landscape are great. The CFA Institute is committed to identifying ways to mitigate greenwashing and preserve the integrity of the information being shared about ESG investment products to make them more understandable and comparable to the end-user.
Join us for a fireside chat with Jonathan Grabel, CIO LACERA, and Chris Fidler, CFA Institute Senior Director for Codes and Standards regarding the new Global ESG Disclosure Standards for Investment Products and how they benefit investors and asset managers.
Though there are many standards, CFA Institute’s new standards mark the first global voluntary standards aimed at providing greater transparency and consistency in the way investment products disclose ESG features. The objective is to enable investors, consultants, advisors, and distributors to compare and evaluate ESG investment products. The Standards apply to all types of investment vehicles, asset classes, and ESG approaches, and aim to support investors with information that is complete, reliable, consistent, clear, and accessible.
