Please join us for a discussion on the Opportunities, Challenges and Related Complexities Facing Global Asset Managers in Developing Products to Meet the Requirements of Clients and the Global Regulatory Environment.

Mary Machado-Schammel | Mary Machado Schammel has been in the Financial Services Industry for over 35 years in various roles as a CEO of an M&A Advisory Firm/Investment Banker to the Lower Middle Market, Global Investment and Corporate Banker to Fortune 100 in the Emerging Markets, and Strategic Consultant to the C-Suite of Fortune 500 firms, including Chief Investment Officers, and the Buy-Side.
Mary works with Global Strategic Consultant Coalition Greenwich, formerly Greenwich Associates, recently acquired by Indian based CRISIL. She is also Co-Founder and CEO of M&A Advisory Firm Venture Advisors Business Sales and Acquisitions. The firm, industry agnostic, specializes in working with founder/owner businesses in the lower end of the middle market to prepare and sell them to global strategic buyers, including private equity firms.
Mary’s prior professional experiences include being Head/SVP of Standard Chartered Bank, West, where she led the Bank’s initiative to build its west coast business with Fortune 100 corporations in the technology, entertainment & media, aerospace, and manufacturing industries through global teams providing investment and corporate banking products and supply chain related services in emerging markets. At Merchant Bank First Interstate Bank Limited, Mary managed portfolios of sovereigns, multinationals, and banks in developed and developing countries with specialties in distressed debt and aircraft finance.
Mary has a B.A. from Georgetown University International Studies and Economics and a Global MBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business/School of Foreign Service and ESADE University. Back To Top ^^

Jayme Colosimo | Jayme Colosimo is an ESG investment director at Capital Group, home of American Funds. She has 21 years of industry experience and joined Capital Group in 2022. Prior to joining Capital, Jayme worked as global head of ESG in business advisory services at Citigroup Global Markets. She holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in international business from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jayme is based in New York. Back To Top ^^
Chris Fidler | Chris Fidler is a Senior Director on the Codes & Standards team at CFA Institute. He led the development of the Global ESG Disclosure Standards for Investment Products—the first global voluntary standards for disclosing how an investment product considers ESG issues in its objectives, investment process, and stewardship activities. Mr. Fidler has expert-level knowledge of investment product ESG disclosure regulations globally, and currently serves on the UK FCA Disclosure & Labelling Advisory Group.
Prior to joining CFA Institute, Mr. Fidler was a management consultant at Thought Logic Consulting, LLC, and served in a number of management and analyst roles at Capital One Financial Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at University of Virginia.
